Here's the third pitch that I put together with Chris Marshall handling the writing chores. The book is called A Force Unfit, the story of a group of super humans with disabilities that directly conflict with their powers. There's the sonic screamer with Tourette's syndrome, a narcoleptic speedster, an invincible agoraphobic, a schizophrenic telepath, and their clinically depressed leader. When their city faces a prehistoric threat, they're forced to work through their disabilities to save the day. (Inks on page 1 by "Jazzy" Jason Worthington)
Here's the second of the pitches that my writing pal Chris and I put together for Comic Con this year (with a little help from Leandro Antolini) and it got a lot of good response. It was inked by Jason Worthington. It's about a hardboiled detective in 1930's San Francisco, where the paranormal is just considered normal and monsters, ghosts, and the creatures of the night are commonplace.
I decided to switch things up a bit and start posting a few new things to the ol' website and bridge the gap a bit later with some of the not as old but certainly not new stuff. First up is the pitch for The Astounding Airmale! Airmale and his sidekick Stampy are two of the lamest characters of the Golden Age, but with the right treatment I'm hoping they can relive the glory days they never had! The plan is to create a trade for each decade that Airmale's been around and poke fun at the comics of the day. It was written by Chris Marshall in his best Stan Lee writing style.
